“The concert was everything I thought it would be. The string players were quite brave to be playing in such a cold venue (25 degrees F/-3.9 degrees C). I spoke to a violin player friend of mine and she has no idea how they could do that without damaging their instruments. The music was very nice, and it was good that the quintet invited a singer on stage a few times. We were sitting in the very last row, so having something visually stimulating helped as we really couldn't see the players. The music was festive and expertly played. Though cold, the castle provided excellent acoustics.Read more”

“This was a great short concert in a wonderful historic room. Very very hard to find, and didn't know it was in the castle and you had to walk and walk and ask for directions multiple times. Nearly gave up but found the Palace. Commented that it was very hard to find and the reception staff commented that everyone says the same thing. The concert was lovely though.”
